Why I tend to spend Saturday morning in bed

When this:

Is your view from this:

Wouldn't you have trouble getting out of bed, too?

Spring is nearly here and, after 16 months on the market, we have yet to sell our house in NC. As the lease on this house comes up, we have to once again examine our options (2 mortgages is still not an option). Since the housing market has yet to recover, I am hoping the owners will be open to signing another lease here; the beautiful view is the only thing keeping me sane while we wait for our own dear home to sell.

  2. Hold on to that view. That is fantastic! I sure wouldn't mind waking up to that every morning. I'd probably be a happier person even. Maybe?

  3. Beg them for a lease extension... They probably can't sell either.

  4. That is beautiful. I cross over an ocean inlet every time I go to Church, but this beats it. It's a bummer you can't sell your house. It was a great house.

  5. The view from your house is so awesome. I would stay there as long as possible. It is like something you see in the movies.

  6. Can't blame you! I'd stay in bed all morning too. Man, if they don't let you guys renew the lease tell them I'd love to sign one & live up there for a while! Hope you guys can sell soon.

  7. Wow! I can't wait to get to bed at night because I have 1,000 thread count sheets and two down comforters on my bed. But you totally win! Wish my rental house was as gorgeous as yours!

  8. Did you make your bed just to write this post? And then snuggle back in? Fess up...

Do they want my opinion? I'm really not sure how I could face a summer without your beach!! Do whatever it takes. I have to play at your house again. Please please please. And tell the weather to warm up quickly. My boys asked a month ago to play on your beach. At the time there was more snow than sand.

  11. Amazing. Though I would worry...now that people know what you wake up to, you might have a whole host of us with you one morning. I hope you have a California King.
