Say Again?

Regardless of the availability of water to make splashes, my kids call big jumps cannon balls. Every child but Matthew, who mispronounces it in an entertaining way.

  1. Okay, that was funny. It made us laugh. Someday he'll love it when you show that to his girlfriends.

  3. How does your hubby sleep that deep? I wake up if someone in the next room turns over in their sleep.

and I don't think your room is messy, it looks perfectly normal!

  6. That was hilarious! I love listening to little people develop language. My favorite around here for a while was "bird hummers", you know, those little tiny birds?
And you were telling the truth about Peter's sleeping ability!

  7. I can't believe Peter is really sleeping through that! Was he wearing ear plugs?

Very cute little jumper you have there.

  8. Kim- I plan on it! I think I will start a blackmail file for each child to make everything easier to find.

Andrea- I bet I could have jumped on the bed and not gotten a response.

Mom at Our House- It is a great talent, unless you are the one who has to wake him up.

Davis Family- I capture them. And exploit them.

  9. ucmama- exactly what I heard. And that is the normal state of my room. I can't even blame not wanting to wake up Peter with my cleaning- obviously it wouldn't make a difference.

Claudia- That is always something I like to watch. The development of language is fascinating. I love your "say mama" watch you have going on. Been there, done that!

    Boyer family- thanks!

Mary- Nope, no ear plugs. I had actually woken him up a half hour before to ask him something, so he wasn't at his deepest level of sleep. I'm not sure how he does it, but it makes night shifts easier to handle.

  10. That was so funny! Peter should teach classes on how to deep sleep. How in the world do you wake him up. Do, "you do it" like Matthew said?

  11. I love it! They do go pretty high. And probably would make a big splash...

  12. Jenn- There is no good way to wake him up. I tried water once, that was a disaster. I usually have to try 20 times. In fact in this video, I had already woke him once to tell him it was time to get up.

Angela- I can't wait till he can do camel balls into the pool this summer.
