You thought you had a lot of laundry . . .

To fit all the summer clothes we brought back from North Carolina into our Suburban, we were forced to be a little creative. Clothes were rolled under seats, inside the stroller, and anywhere else they could be stuffed. Needless to say, I had to refold it all when I got home. Being such a great housecleaner and coming back to a place where warm clothes aren't yet a priority, it sat a couple of days (and a couple in this case may be more than 2). By that time, I had regular laundry to wash, too. When finished, I was faced sorting this pile. For perspective, the bed is the extra full size bed in our bedroom (and Brenda thought the kitchen was funny looking). And, in the interest of full disclosure, this picture is short one load of laundry (still in the dryer) and two loads of towels I folded downstairs.

  2. Wow, I will be sure to grumble less when I do laundry tomorrow!

PS, I wasn't going to say anything, but they really can do some amazing things on "10 Years Younger." You can probably sign up online.

  4. Is Andrea saying that Charlotte needs to look 10 years younger? That is kind of rude, anyway, I can't believe you let your laundry get that out of hand, I never have a pile like that (and by never I mean every other time I do laundry)

  5. Ok, so when I started my comment, Andrea had only left her first comment, but when my comment posted she had written her second one, so then I realized that 10 years younger was not a cable show that showed how to make your house 10 years younger, but an actual show that made a person look ten years younger and that I had apparently missed the quick quote. Oops. I guess that is what I get for trying to out do Andrea's wit!

  7. Gordon don't show your laundry it will be larger than Charlotte's and she has more people. Good luck getting that done. Have all the kids help and it won't go much faster. You don't need the show it would make you look like a teenager.

  8. Elise tried to make me feel better by telling me Ethan thought the show was for people who looked ten years younger than they actually were, but Ethan came in the room and said, no it helps people look younger. Then, just joking around, I asked Joseph who was younger, me or Daddy and he matter-of-factly stated me. I guess I'm just becoming an old fart (I'm not sure what that makes Mom and Dad)

  9. Wow. What else is there to say? I hate laundry, by the way. Especially folding. I don't envy you. The best part about 10 years younger is that they give you Lasik for your eyes and you get cool cosmetic dentistry done. I always tell Ken I wish they had 10 Years Older, all of us Tucker girls look young (you included Charlotte!)

  10. I don't hate doing laundry, just putting it away. I try to trick Barlow into having a laundry putting-away PARTY, but usually he sees right through my scheming.

And Brenda I now you are curious about that deleted comment, that was me I was signed in as Barlow and didnt realize it. I probably should have left it and said something really rude, huh? Anyways, Charlotte you don't look old, but even if you did you would still be beautiful.

  12. Peter laughed his head off when he heard what Ethan said. "You would look 15!" I know I look young/near my age, that was part of what was so funny about what Ethan said. To him 15 is still ancient. Andrea, in 50 years when I'm 81 and you're 71 we can have a beauty contest to see who looks the youngest (Peter has to be one of the judges!)
