More of our Halloween History

I've finally finished this year's costumes.
The pictures here are from 2006.
Be kind, my baby #6 was only 1 1/2 months old so I was not looking my best! Although all those costumes were sewn by yours truly (I even made up baby Matthew's costume myself)! I'm the 1st to admit, sometimes I can be a little crazy.

  1. I like seeing the Halloween's past. Fun idea. I love it when the whole family matches...that is how Halloween should be.

  6. I really should have borrowed these costumes this year, although my youngest is one and might not fight Matthews old costume. Oh well, back to sewing for me.

  9. I don't think you are crazy at all, not even a little. I wish I was that talented. I just took my first sewing class and made pot holders. I'll never get to the stage you are in.

  11. SO CUTE! No wonder Brenda feels like we have to make the best costumes in the history of costumes, she has a lot to compete with. But just for the record, we ARE making the best costumes in the history of costumes.

  12. So seriously...what do you do with the costumes after you've worn them? Are you saving them to start a costume business? Feel free to send them my way if they are cluttering your home. ;o)

  13. They are totally sitting in plastic bins in my storage closet labeled: midevil, starwars, aliens, animals, etc. Sometimes I reuse them (vader's cape became a wizard's robe the next year) and I have lent them out before, but other than that, nothing.

  14. Yeah, that's definitely an impressive year! Way to go. I am loving this journey through Halloweens past. Mine are sitting in a pile on a dining room chair right now. Once we got home from the ward party I realized I don't have a place to store them! Since the kids love to dress up so much they have to be accessible. But out of MY way. Opps. Another dozen years of this and we'll be in REAL trouble.
